This swimming group for people with learning disabilities is a lively, informal group. It enables members to be included into a popular community activity and sport.
The weekly session encourages people to exercise and promotes health, increases self esteem, achievement and confidence. People are able to socialize with friends, relax and enjoy a swimming session where they have the support of staff and volunteers who provide the correct level of support and ensure that safety is a priority at all times throughout the session.
